Sometimes I forget that the average person doesn't have a fucking clue when it comes to cars (mind you - I don't expect everyone to be a raving petrolhead, but there comes a point when I just shake my head). I was just looking through an io9 article (some might know the one) and was shocked at some of the idiotic comments.. I was about to start getting mouthy before I caught myself. Needed to vent a bit and figured my oppofriends would understand my pain.

Lolololol automobile was a step back. I am so glad though someone brought out how much horse turds there would be around the city.

I don't know how people even get by in life. You don't have to be a car guy to realize how important the car is. Hope you aren't dying, otherwise that horse may take 2 hours to get here.

No, I think your commentary is fine for the most part. I think the bigger issue the mods had was something like this being considered "shit-stirring".

My understanding was that they don't have a problem with us disagreeing with something from another Gawker blog, they just don't want us to come to Oppo and post about it.

Any mods out there, definitely correct me if I'm wrong.
